The rusty shipwreck of the SS Charcot whaling vessel in Conception Harbour, Newfoundland.
I found myself with some time to kill in the St. John's area of Newfoundland when my travel companion's flight was delayed until the next day. I rented a car and drove around, exploring the sights. This amazing shipwreck had been recommended to me by a friend who knew of my love for derelict and abandoned things, and I'm so glad it was on my list!
I added some grungy, vintage textures to the image to give it a painterly feel and complement the rusty patina on the ship.
