Description
One of the most amazing things about driving around Ireland was coming across all the random castle ruins, like this one, Leamaneh Castle in the Burren. There were ruins like this everywhere, although we couldn't always pull over to take photos on the narrow, Irish roads. The rental car agent told us "you have more room than you think", but I'm just thankful we didn't run into any cars going the other way!
I chose to use my infrared-converted Nikon D7100 camera for a lot of my photos in Ireland. I just love the frosty glow it creates from a green summer scene like this one! This is a black and white version of the image, there is also a false colour version available, with a blue sky.
