Description
For years, I desperately wanted to see an Indigo Bunting. Finally, when we moved to our home in Southern New Brunswick, we began to see them occasionally during spring migration.
On this particular day, a huge flock of cedar waxwings had descended on one of our apple trees, to feast on the blossoms. I went out with my camera to photograph them, and was delighted when this stunning fellow joined them! He only stayed for a moment, but it was long enough.

Gorgeous photo! I am STILL chasing the Indigo Bunting. I guess you'd have to say it is my current nemesis bird!
Tracy Munson replied:
Took me awhile! My bf kept seeing them while he was out in the garden, but I didn’t see one for the longest time.
