A Blackburnian Warbler seemed happy to pose for his portrait in my backyard on Mary's Point, NB.
This species had eluded me during my Spring trips to Point Pelee in Ontario, so I was excited to see one my first year in Southern New Brunswick. Now, we see them and many other warblers, right in our own backyard every year.

About Tracy Munson
Tracy Munson is a blue-haired, wine-drinking, nature-loving, bunny-hugging, Canadian Landscape and Animal Photographer. While living in Toronto, Tracy took every opportunity to escape the city and her rewarding but stressful job in one of the country's largest Animal Shelters. For many years, she traveled around Canada in a tiny car, with a large man, a tent, and two chihuahuas.
