A stormy sunrise over the pierced rock in Percé, Gaspé Peninsula, Quebec.
Sunrise was super early, and I almost didn't bother dragging myself out of my sleeping bag on this early morning, it was so overcast. I sat for awhile, looking out the tent flap, making up my mind, and when I saw the clouds start to part and the sun breaking through, I knew it would be worthwhile! The advantage to camping right in front of the scenic view you want for sunrise!

Tracy Munson is a blue-haired, wine-drinking, nature-loving, bunny-hugging, Canadian Landscape and Animal Photographer. While living in Toronto, Tracy took every opportunity to escape the city and her rewarding but stressful job in one of the country's largest Animal Shelters. For many years, she traveled around Canada in a tiny car, with a large man, a tent, and two chihuahuas. After seeing it all, Atlantic Canada kept drawing her back and in 2018 she escaped city life for good, relocating to the beautiful Bay of Fundy region of New Brunswick to pursue photography full-time.
