They are also useful in keeping bees alive, which is pretty important if you like eating food. Consider leaving your dandelions alone next year, they are one of the first food sources for bees in the spring.
About Tracy Munson
Tracy Munson is a blue-haired, wine-drinking, nature-loving, bunny-hugging, Canadian Landscape and Animal Photographer. While living in Toronto, Tracy took every opportunity to escape the city and her rewarding but stressful job in one of the country's largest Animal Shelters. For many years, she traveled around Canada in a tiny car, with a large man, a tent, and two chihuahuas. After seeing it all, Atlantic Canada kept drawing her back and in 2018 she escaped city life for good, relocating to the beautiful Bay of Fundy region of New Brunswick to pursue photography full-time.
